This place is great if you're looking out for your macros. You have the option of mini bowl, regular bowl, plate, or salad. They're newest menu item is the Korean bibimbap for $10.45 with the option to add meat, $1.50 extra. You can opt to have the chicken, beef, and tofu with no glazed sauce. For the amount of meat they give in a bowl, it's easily 5-6 oz! They'll remake your order for you if a mistake has been made.
A bowl comes with half brown or white rice, steamed broccoli, julienned carrots, cabbage and your choice of meat/tofu.
It's vegetarian friendly. Gluten-free friendly. All dressings are always packed on the side.
Appetizers range from $3.65-$5.50: gyoza(dumplings), shumai(open-faced dumplings), macaroni salad (freshly made every day), seaweed salad, and edamame with salt sprinkled on top.
Side Choices range from $2.50-$5.50: side of meat (5.50), side of tofu, side of rice, side of veggies, fresh green salad with Italian dressing, Kimchi, and Miso soup. -

I am very disappointed! Yelp failed me on this one. I ordered a beef genki plate and paid almost 11 bucks. It has brown rice (no additional fee), salad, veggies that's mostly cabbage and some carrots and macaroni salad that is similar to a Hawaiian bbq plate.
The beef was tough, dry nd tasteless. The serving was generous but it's so hard to eat tons of food if it doesn't taste good. I almost want to cry while trying to eat it, it was that bad. The only reason I'm not going all the way down to 1 star is because they were quite nice, the sauces are self-served and the generous portion. Sadly, I won't be back. -

My version of a Korean style chipotle right here... :). Today I ordered the Genki beef bowl! The food itself was pretty good, I didn't like the fact that there were some inedible parts in the beef. The service was great and the preparation was quick , I was in and out within 5 mins. The beef itself was fairly tender with a nice Korean style seasoning not too sweet with some grill flavor going on not too bad 7.5/10. I'm hoping maybe Genki can be a little more attentive next time in regards to how they slice their meat but overall it was a solid experience.

I've been eating here weekly for the past 2 years. Their food is always fresh & delicious. Friendly service, generous portions and GOOD RICE.

Finally!!! My go to spot for lunch almost everyday!
The chicken is fresh, the beef is tender, and the portions are huge! You get your bang for your buck!
Normal order, Genki plate with brown rice, chicken and beef, Macaroni salads, green onions, and salad!
The sauces cart is always stocked and delicious! They have a buffalo sauce and creamy soy/teriyaki sauce. They have other options and food choices to pick from. But I have my mindset on the rice and chicken. I'll maybe try the short rib
